My Approach
I provide evidence-based therapy, that is, therapy that has been demonstrated to be effective by the best available research evidence. In our work together, we will collaborate to identify some of the unhelpful thoughts and behavioral patterns that have prevented you from being your best self.
I rely on a client-centered approach to care, recognizing that each individual has unique needs, challenges and strengths. I take a holistic view of each person and consider the physical, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual components of well-being. I feel strongly that connection with values - those things in life that are the most important to us - facilitates growth and promotes wellbeing. I am particularly interested in partnering with my clients as they seek to better understand and apply their values. Through the process of therapy, my clients develop insight into the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building skills needed to make lasting change.
